Thanks guys for your kind comments.  Its definitely the same gene pool (yep, its a Juniper buck).  We've seen several bucks down there with the forked cheaters, just nothing big since "Babes" best year.  Here's a screen shot from some video I captured of Babe back in 2005.  I'd say he's related to my buck, don't you think so?



The locals say the buck Cameraguy posted the pick of is the same buck, but I'm not sure.  This is what Babe looked like last year.  He's definitely regressing.

114 5/8 blacktail - my first buck  6x3
169 6/8 mule deer - non-typical 9x5
90 whitetail 4x4

Plus I mowed down a 4x4 whitetail with my pickup at 4:30 in the morning this year.

hahaha, when i went turkey huning over there in colville we saw more dead white tails and turkeys on the road then we shot at...
