I'd take a youth. When I bought the medium it was the smallest size you had.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I have a couple questions:

Is the material fairly quiet? Is it going to be noisy like some material when you rub against brush?
Some material seems to attract hounds tongue and other weeds, is the material not as bad that way?

These vests are the worst! Haha just kidding got mine awhile back to test out. Works really good, doesn't soak up water, light, not cumbersome at all. Real nice and simple

Completely silent in use, only noise is the velcro strap on removing it. Don't know about weeds sticking to it since I don't roll on the ground. :chuckle:

With a fully loaded Bullpac on the lightweight vest and safety panel were great to have.  Definitely didn't want any extra weight to carry out.  Super lightweight and with the safety panel I was still visible from all sides.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Hey Bearpaw,
The material is definitely very quiet, I don't think you can get it to make a sound under any circumstance.
I wore my vest last year during the testing stage through some pretty rough brush and while it did snag a little (I was even able to create a small tear, but I was pretty much trying to do it), it didn't pick up anything.  But I don't think I've worn it through any hounds tongue yet so I can't comment on that.  I did have a guy ask about this earlier this summer and I told him if he had any problems I'd refund him and he hasn't contacted me yet!

Yes, I'm still hoping for that!  I'm working on the youth size right now in preparation for the Portland Sportsmen's Show, but hopefully I can work on the camo pattern in February/March.
