Hey Polar bear, did you hear about the 340 bull killed out there by you? It ended up at a Taxidermist of mine. The guy is from Yelm or Rainier I believe and killed it in the Skookumchuck. Whats that bull of yours score?

jackelope, I believe anything east of Interstate 5 is scored as a Rocky Mountain elk by Boone & Crockett.

thanks...you were right...from the B/C website:
Roosevelt’s elk are acceptable from Del Norte, Humboldt and Trinity Counties, California, as well as that portion of Siskiyou County west of I-5 in northern California; from west of Highway I-5 in Oregon and Washington; from Vancouver Island, B.C.; and from Afognak and Raspberry Islands of Alaska. The Alaskan animals are the result of a successful transplant from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. To date no trophies from Alaska have been entered that reach the current all-time records book minimum score of 290. Most of the entered trophies to date have come from coastal Oregon and Washington, with a smaller number from Vancouver Island

if you want to sign up for trophy search, you could get the info i'm guessing by reading the site   :dunno:

That list hast to be wrong!  If it is right, I have the #4 cascade roosie, #1 rifle whitie and 3 in the top 10 of archery whities.  The last that I checked, I was a lot farther down on all of them except the bull.

maybe you ought to enter them. i'm betting a lot of people don't enter them for the same reason you haven't.  :dunno:
that site was linked through pope and young's site.

The stats listed above are probable right from NW Big Game, not all P&Y or B&C animals are list though.  This is a post of a P&Y bull I found on B&C Trophy Watch.

Arizona in Washington Evergreen Bull
October 31, 2003
With our B&C Headquarters close to the WA State Line, we have been getting hammered with inquires about a 400+ bull arrowed in the Evergreen State. Not the best photo, but what a bull. Here's what we have heard:

The bull was arrowed by Jeff Thorpe somewhere outside of Ellensburg, WA. Here are the green score numbers from a P&Y Official Measurer:

Officially scored by Glenn Abbott and Sam Wilkins on 11/22/03, 430 6/8 gross, 421 7/8 net non-typ.

Are all your bucks that qualify Whitetails? Any Blacktails? I entered a couple of my Blacktails, then said to hell with it, killed one 05' that makes it, but didn't enter him. Sounds like you got some good bulls, are they permit or general?
