Homemade gear

Anybody else make some of their own gear? Lets see your ideas. Here are a couple of mine.
Drag ropes with PVC handles, easy on the hands and a good grip.
 
I am also teaching myself to weld, and getting better, have built several trail cam boxes with hinged lids. Next project, I want to weld a hanging tree stand.

I've built an Ozonics and a meat cooler at my house.  Also done some low level gunsmithing on my muzzleloader, nothing too technical.  Probably going to make a hitch hoist next and a mobile meat cooler.   

I'll try to post pics if I get around to it.

I McGeyvered a new spring for the shell ejector on my old Enfield 30/06. Used a piece of spring from a pen. Does that count? 😳

Sure, The pin that holds the firing mechanism in also works as a a shear pin for some outboards

I made a sight wedge for my re curve to compensate for bow cant .

We made our toilet for camp....old plastic patio end table with the top cut out and toilet seat adhered to it.  It is a thing of beauty

I made a bunch of stabilizers when I was into target archery. Golf club shafts worked great, and  they were longer then standard ones. You could rest the bow on it when you were waiting for you turn to shoot. The range owner wasn't too pleased when i sold a few to some of the shooters.

Until it brittle fractures in the subfreezing temperatures and you fall into a pungy pit filled with plastic shards and yesterday's deposits. 

 

We went with wood.
