He's baaack! Yes!!! Got home and he greeted me at my car with his ball, tail waggin!  He looks 100% minus the weight he lost.  Also back to eating the dry dog food, and chasing balls!  Thanks for the support, ideas and comments!   :IBCOOL:

Sweet!

I love good news.

Watch the De-con for rodents as well.  It gets a lot of family pets.
that was one of the considerations, when he was a puppy we had to have his stomach emptied cause he got a hold of some.  I have decon pellets up high in the garage where he can't get to, I wonder if he ate a mouse that was infected with it? No more decon in our house, traps for now on.

Great news.  We let our chocolate lab roam for 17 years & she never was sick a day in her life until old age set in.  The yellow lab we have today used to get into stuff, and she learned the hard way.

Glad you got your ol' pal back.

wow, 17 years!! That incredible, yeah my dog can't stand to be kenneled up all day. I hope what ever he did or ate he remembers.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

My beagle pups were mighty sick a few days ago.  They must have got into something.  They were puking up whenever they drank water even.  I was getting nervous with the heat.  They had they misery skitters for two days.

I was just about to take them in to the vet's when they started holding food down and drinking water like hound pups do  :dunno:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Awefully lot of sick dogs...

What brand/flavor or food are you all using?  Sounds like it might be worth sharing, see if there is a common denominator involved..

Glad dogs are bouncing back and ok..

He didn't have an answer for their dog either?  He just gave her some antibiotics and fluid the two days they took her in.  She was fine in just 2 days.  The vet never suspected parvo.
