Vet Recommendation (Seattle)
« on: June 21, 2015, 09:30:03 AM »
My wife and I will be getting our first bird dog together in the next couple of months. We'll be getting a Griffon, can't wait!

We are looking for a vet in the North Seattle/Seattle area as well as a 24 hour emergency hospital. Any recommendations, or people to stay away from, are greatly appreciated.

I'm in the city as well, and we see Dr. Kleven at Greentree animal hospital in West Seattle. Dr. Kleven is a hunter, and his fees are a bit more reasonable than some of the chains I've seen. I haven't had to use a 24 hours service, but have constantly been referred to the VCA clinics, there is one kind of North Ballard. Not much of an endorsement, but when in a life/death pinch any vet is better than no vet.

I'm also a versatile dog guy, if you want to hook up and plant a bird for your dog sometime, LMK and we'll get it sorted.

Thanks for the tip and offer. Several years ago I lived only a few blocks from the Alaska Junction. Neat place.

If you can make it over to Bellevue,  Dr. Singbeil at Crossroads Vets is awesome. His pricing seems to always be reasonable and the fact that hes a hunter doesn't hurt.

I've heard good things about Dr. Singbeil and will check him out.

My parents and brother have used them for years. Just North of Greenlake.
