Benchmade Knives
« on: June 28, 2015, 05:26:18 PM »
Anyone have a folder for hunting?  I just bought the Fixed Blade Steep Country hunter.

Kinda wish I'd bought the North Fork

Hell maybe I will...   :)

Naw.... you want a havalon for your folder.  Steep Country for the real tough stuff - or for your camp knife.

I have only fondled the benchmades at the store.I settled on a spyderco paramilitary for an edc, probably end up in the field too.I got myself a fox river for the tough stuff, I love that knife. I think the havalons are great. My deer last year and the year before I broke down to come inside completely with one.

Ya got a point there - had to replace over a half dozen broken blades doing a couple moose.

I hate folders. Their only advantage is size. They are much harder to clean after field dressing an animal. :twocents:
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.
