Layout blind ?

I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction for a quality made layout blind. I want to purchase one for next season. Figure I might be able to hit a end of season sale somewhere, or maybe someone has one for sale here. I would like something durable and not cheaply made. I will be hunting in cornfields over east and fields on this side of the mtns. I am 6'1 and weigh 220. I would appreciate any info. Thanks guys.

I am about your height and build and have used my Final Approach blind for a couple of years and like it and it is holding up.

I have 3 X'lander's and they work great. Very portable and well made.  I would rub mud over any layout that you do get then let it dry It will take any kind of glare away that might show up on a new clean blind.

IMO final approach makes the best blinds. I like the pro-guide but the SUB is also nice. Which ever way you go definetley go to rogerssportinggoods.com to buy- they have the best prices even with shipping costs. Good luck hunting.

X-landr's for me, I've got 3 of them also.  Go to Sportsman's and take them off the rack and lay in them, the new Pro-landr is pretty nice too.

I have had several of the Final Approach Pro-Guide Eliminator blinds and have really liked them.  If you don't have to far to go or can cart them into the field they work well.  If you have a ways to walk I would look into one that folds with shoulder straps.  I also have an F.A. X-lander, but prefer the eliminator blind.  There have been a few listed on craigslist that are affordable.  If you end up not liking them you can recovery your expenses.

+1,  If your packing for a long distance you will like the ones that are designed to pack in with a strap...

go to rogers outdoors or rogers sporting goods im not sure exactly which one it was but they had eliminator pro guides in the field khaki color for 143 a blind which is incredible

I have a FA and it has worked pretty good. Had a few issues with it but it's nice and roomy and have taken a few naps in it waitin for shootin light. I hunted out of one of Gamblin Guy's X-Landr's this past weekend, and man are those things light and simple to setup! A little smaller, but you could always get the Pro Landr. Just my

Look hard at the for sale pages on here, and there seems to be some on the refuge forum. ebay might work also. Why pay retail when you can help your brothers out ?

im a huge fan of the eliminaters and power hunters. ive been hunting geese for a long time and i have both types of blinds and they both work well.

My hunting partner and I bought 4 laydown blinds this year. Tom bought two used Final Approach pro guide XL and I bought two regular pro guides off of roger's sporting goods for $143. After using them a half dozen times I wish I would have bought the XL's. The pro guide XL's are alot more roomy. Both are well built.

I bought the new Pro Land R and I have yet to try it out in the field, but I have tested it out on the floor of my living room, and I have to say it is really comfortable. I am 5' 10" and weight around 200 and I have plenty of room all around, even with all my gear on!!!
