Hot days = Cool drinks adult style
« on: June 08, 2015, 12:11:33 PM »
So playing mixologist yesterday while sitting on the patio enjoying the great weather i came up with this drink for the over 21 crowd..

Not sure what to call it, it tastes a bit like a Shirley temple but with a zing...
Humm Cherry Popper???

1 medium glass
3-4 ice cubes
1 shot of Cherry infused moonshine (i just sight poured, but measuring is probably best  :chuckle:)
4-6 Moonshine cherries (or what you like)
1/3 Limeade
1/3 Sparkling water ( i used sparkling rain natural)

Mix lightly and enjoy......it would of had better presentation if i had some mint for the rim.

Looks good. The boy and I moved a little wood over at Goldeneyes place...I was sent home with a bit of treats. Among them a jar of his apple pie. It was enjoyed by a few just yesterday as well.

Hows the kick on that store bought shine?

The kicks pretty good, it's 100 proof.
I had 2 of those back to back yesterday evening, good thing i was in for the day.. :o

I still have a jar each of homemade apple pie and peach pie.

I also have a 5th of 190proof waiting for something to do....but you know when i make shine with the cheap high proof stuff it gives me a headache after just one or to drinks..

That and a nap on a hammock sounds like a perfect afternoon on a hot day.
