good bow shop in Tacoma?
« on: July 05, 2015, 10:22:42 AM »
I am looking for a place in Tacoma to take my bow in and have a tune up and talk to them about new arrows.  I am fairly new to bow hunting and would like to talk to a good knowledgeable staff.

I have a Matthews outback, I don't know if some shops just focus on certain brands or not...

thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I like going to Sportco in fife. The guys in there are always super helpful and really seem to know what they are doing.

Sportsmans warehouse in Puyallup and talk to rod or Jim

I don't consider Sportco a big box store honestly.  We lack a consistent archery shop here, especially one that is a Hoyt dealer.  I know Great NW Archery is a good shop, i've talked to Doug, he helped me sort out an issue, but i've tried to go there another 4 times and he is NEVER there.  He changes his hours all the time.  Now, maybe he has family stuff going on or something, but that's no way to run a business.  I wouldn't be nearly as irritated about it if he updated his message when he was gonna only open his shop from 4-6pm... but holy crap it irritates me to go there at 11am and see that sign after calling and getting a message about his 10am to 6pm hours.
