I use a big agnes scout with the vestibule, or a golite sl-5.  If I'm in snake land down here in CA i generally stick with the BA because of the floor. All my wa hunts are with the sl-5 due to the large amount of room and no need for the floor.

I'm liking the look of that tarptent protrail....might have to pick one of those up
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake

Genius and Insanity are neighbors, and they often share sugar.

Just an update since my last post a friend and his son both got BA Seedhouse 1's last week and said they are awesome and light but still a bit high on price at 269. Im still looking at the REI quarterdome 1  but cant pull the trigger quite yet. I did take my Cobra up in the high country last week for a few days and had a little mouse issue. The tent was set up for 2 days at base camp no food inside no problem we get back into camp and I set my bag of trail mix near the side just like the last 25 years before lights out well at first light I have some snack mix then look at the side of my tent and see a 3/4" hole WHAAAT's THAT %#@&*? then I turn my snack bag around oh man you guessed it a 3/4" hole. Thankfully no turds in the trail mix. If the food had been in my pack sealed tight I doubt it would have happened.
