Night hunting lights? What do you use?
« on: July 05, 2015, 09:13:35 PM »
Hey any advice would be appreciated.  Im looking to put a light on top of rifle.  Like wicked lights,  coyote light, or a friend told me about a creed light made in China Wichita supposedly is what our U.S. brands use they just mark up the price 9 times the price. Hunting coyotes at night.  Does any one use the bigger lights with a battery pack?

Would you recommend wicked lights?  I've never used a rifle mounted light.  I have just shot with using a spot light. Does it make a big difference?

Lightforce lights. They make offroad lights for truck and sweet lights for your rifle or shotgun. Made in Australia. Search the site I have posted about them before and own one. You can shi e a coyote to 600yard with the gun mounted one.

I do not hunt at night any more but when I did I had the best sight pic by having two people and holding a light shining over the shooters shoulder at the coyote. Gun mounted lights did not work well.

I purchased the O-Beam flashlight from batteries Plus.  It is $80.00 and puts out a intense beam of light.  far brighter than my Wicked lights scope mount.  I put on scope rings upside down and pipe clamped the square sided flash light to the flat base part of the scope rings.  The light only uses 4 AA batteries and has a long run time.  I will dry to post a picture.  It is my go to night rifle.  In open country I honestely believe I could shoot out to 200 yards at night.

I really like these.  I have the 100 and the 250 and I have the green motion activated night light for hog hunting.
