That's the problem with this world nobody says sheet to people out of fear ! bare minimum you say looks like your setting a fine example for your kids filling our land with your garbage ... with that truck the guy could have afforded to dump it properly . our society has got to be such pussies ... dont step in attitude is bs . Lend a hand when people need one and let them know face to face when they are out of line . people remember when someone calls them out for there actions and people remember good acts like wise.

I wonder if the people dumping garbage felt it was okay and that they would get away with it because all the other people who were there were also breaking the law?

This is private property where people regularly target shoot, without having permission to do so. Therefore, everyone there that day is guilty of trespass.

Maybe the dumpers actually thought they were doing the shooters a favor, by supplying them with more targets to shoot at?

Maybe the text should read:

Out trespassing and littering while some others showed up to do the same.

Look at the shell husks laying on the ground and the background. Dollars to donuts much of that came from the very same people trespassing and shooting.

I certainly do not condone anybody dumping trash on the side of the road; it sickens me to no end.... "but" if LeMay didn't have such a monopoly on the residential waste disposal business, the county landfills didn't charge 15-20 bucks to dump there, and if WA would adopt a program similar to Idaho that strategically places dumpsters on the side of road for folks to use, it may change the tide of the fools that dump their trash on the side of the road.  Just another piece of info to think about.

Coach, nobody is saying this guy didn't deserve a few sharp words or a verbal dressing down.  But the point I'm making is: does packing heat give a person the right to force somebody else to pick up trash? Or not dump it at all? This is what was advocated earlier.
And what if, after you tell the idiot to put his trash back in his truck, the guy spits a big glob of chew on your boot and says "Who's gonna make me?"  Then what?  You know everybody's armed there... how far does it need to be taken over trash?
I don't think making good, rational decisions in a situation like this could be used as an example of the "pussification of America."  The guy took pics, turned them into the sheriff, then posted it all online. That's proactive and sends a message.  You know this knucklehead is going to get his fines in the end.

Coach - I agree about the current "lack of personal and social responsibility" rampant in this country.  At the same time escalating a situation like that  I do not feel is worth it, not with the potential of severe injury or worse having firearms around for a trash offense.  Lots of pictures were taken and authorities notified and they were pretty blasted on social media..

THAT SAID, there is good news!!

Final Update:
The folks involved have returned and picked up their trash. I have not heard from the TCSO personally but pics have been provided of them returning empty and leaving with full beds of trash. He also posted on Facebook a halfass apology, he was told it was ok Blah blah.

Hooved maybe?

The way penalties go..... cost to legally dispose of garbage:$20.00
Fine/penalty if caught: $15.00

Simple economics.
