Going from trad to compound

Due to a shoulder issue I am making the switch to compound. I recently traded for a new Bear Anarchy HC and am in the process of setting it up.
Right now i have a Whisker Biscuit rest. Trophy ridge site (Can remember which model)
What I am not sure on is the quiver. I don't want a big bulky quiver. Something like a 1 or 2 arrow quiver on the bow and I will carry the rest in my Catquiver

Does anyone have any recommendation on a 1 or 2 arrow quiver or does anyone even make them?
I am also unsure on the release. Having always shot with fingers it will be unusual for me to use one. Any brands more user friendly? Wrist/ caliper? T-handle finger release?

I have a 5 arrow tight spot quiver. Its carbon fiber really light. I like it a lot. I would get a drop away rest and get rid of the biscuit. I used to use a biscuit a couple years ago and switched to a drop away and wish I would have done it years earlier than I did. Unless your bow is pretty long axle to axle shoot with a release. I cant remember what brand I use right now but its a hook style not jaws style. If its really cold I have had the jaws style freeze together and wouldnt open unless I rubbed it in my hands. I like the hook cause its easy to just hook on your loop without looking. I tried the t handle style that releases with pressure or whatever, I personally was very uncomfortable shooting with it and probably wouldn't be the best choice to start with. Hope any of this helps.

welcome to the wheeled brotherhood!     i love it when people have to put the training wheels back on!     Just giving you a hard time!    

I too, use a tightspot 5 arrow quiver.  they just came out with a 3 arrow and i'd look at one of those.  for a release, i have been very happy with my Scott.  they make different styles.  Mine is a sabertooth (now samurai) dual caliper.  I like the nylon head strap, though i can see the benefit of the solid head stem (?).  not crazy about the hook style, though i've not seen one fail or slip, just a personal choice.

and i would second a drop away rest.  one guy i know had several deer hear a frozen WB scraping the arrow shaft on the draw.     I personally like the QAD, but a lot of people like the Trophy Taker rests, too.

Like others have said.. Get rid of the WB. Had my completely freeze one time... Someone later told me to spray it down with Pam cooking spray to avoid that, but I got rid of it and got a drop away rest and never looked back. Arrows started grouping much nicer too.. Go figure! Good luck man!

Wel come to the cable gun side of archery.  I believe tight spot makes a 3.arrow quiver also.

This is true as I have killed animals with one, but right before I switched to a drop away is when I drew on a buck and it heard my arrow scraping on a frozen WB. Mentioned above were the names of my drop away which is trophy taker and I love it, and my release which is a Scott's that I have 2 of so I have a backup and I love both

I gotcha.  I just didn't want the guy to think he had to switch out everything on his bow in order to be successful.

Sorry guys had a long weekend. Thanks for the input. I went with the WB because of the simplicity of it. Plus when I elk I hunt to tend to end up in positions that I really have to shoot at some weird angles.
The bow is pretty much a early season elk tool. So not to worried about it freezing. My family shoots muzzleloaders for the deer season.

I am going to make a trip to Riverside Archery after I get back from vacation. Hopefully I can try a few different releases. I was leaning towards the caliper release. Still holding out hope to use my fingers still.
The bow is 35 1/2" ATA so maybe.

I got the bows drew length adjusted the other day and it is a really nice not feeling pain in my shoulder at full draw. But i do need to get my strength back.

I will look at the Tightspot quiver. 3 arrow would be fine I think. I still kind of what to keep it a light as possible.

I can guarantee you that you will get WAY better accuracy with a release. I also recommend you use a D-loop on your bow string. Whisker Biscuit works, but I really think you would be happier with a drop away style because it allows for FULL arrow/fletching clearance. The more you shoot a compound, the more you will find this out for yourself. Just remember to keep you string waxed my friend.
