Scope levels
« on: July 10, 2015, 10:44:16 PM »
I'm looking at getting a scope level on my viper pst 30mm tube. I want good quality. Price range is around $100

What scope levels are you using or will recommend?

I use a  Vortex tube mounted level. Seems to do the job.

US Optics flip out level:

It's nice because you can see it in your peripheral vision when you're looking through your scope.

Might have to swap the Vortex for one of these.

I have this one:

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/785352/vortex-bubble-level-anti-cant-device-matte

Works fine, price was right.  It is a bit big for my taste and does have sharp edges that catch on the rifle sock when I put it in the safe.  It is very beefy and I'm not afraid of busting it when it gets bumped on something.

Overall, it really helps.  I would have never guessed how far off level I usually am.
