My kids first backpacking trip
« on: July 14, 2015, 07:24:49 AM »
Took my kids on a few backpacking trips these last few weeks and they did great.  My son was able to walk the whole way up, and spent a afternoon catching his first cutthroat trout.     The way down he only needed help once, and for a four year old I am very impressed.  Looking forward to another weekend with my kids and another backpacking adventure.

In the Skagit and Whatcom area, what are some good hikes for fishing and kid friendly?

Nice!  Glad you got them out, the smiles pretty much sum it up.  No clue on the hikes in Skagit/Whatcom area
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
