Rootbeer Beer
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:36:02 PM »
Has anyone seen this yet or tried it?  It is very good, tastes like rootbeer but has 5.9% alcohol.
Bring on the rootbeer floats :P

Horrible stuff! Like drinking a watered down two hour old rum and coke. If ya want beer,  buy beer.

Had root beer floats with some over the weekend.  Very tasty.  I bought it at a Safeway in Oregon.

Just tried some. Straight and in a float. Not really impressed.

None of you who tried it noticed a really funky, bitter aftertaste?

If I wanted an alcoholic float, I think I could do much better spiking storebrand rootbeer.

I'd put the other 5 in the pay-it-forward thread, but I think that's supposed to be for positive exchanges.

The float I had was not straight root-beer but had some other ingredients to make it a better float.  I'll see if I can get the recipe from my business partner (who's bungie jumping today so I may never get it  :IBCOOL:) and post it here.

I like it.  It's pretty good but kinda expensive so I'll stick to my whiskey and coke
