If it were me, Id just have the string re served... Ive been shooting/ resighting/streaching my new string to make sure nothing is off... At this point i would want to elimante as many variables as possible.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Shouldn't you be elk hunting? :dunno:

They were too quiet, the freezer too full, and too much to do at home to keep at it.   :(

I've got a month and a half to get it settled in.     I'll also have an "extra", just in case.

Didnt realize you had that much time till the hunt. Get a new string and call me to go shooting!

Rut.  You'll be in the chips I think.

It's pretty cool being over there and seeing them courting ewes and butting heads in November

I'm looking forward to them being distracted so I can close enough with my bow.  I just need to get over there and scout.  Unfortunately, a good friend was killed last week on I-5 and his memorial is this weekend, so it will have to wait.

Sorry for your loss.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

9/26 or 10/3?  If the latter, I might be able to go then as well.
