Saw two Swakane rams chasing ewes on Sunday.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I wonder if a ewe scented drag would get those Swakane rams over to Manson...?   :chuckle:  JK, I'm getting excited!

Whit, I have a 19' Alumaweld Stryker.  Boss300winmag and I will be over there from the afternoon of the third through at least the 10th or 11th, unless one of the monsters let me walk right up to him on day one.   8)  We will be camping at either Mitchell Creek or Deer Point.

Let me see if I can't peel a day or two off from work to come help.  I can anchor a boat and flog a line.

The weather was a lot more agreeable today... I was worried that wind would never relent! I'm excited to hear your story! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for lesser whitecaps.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Whitecaps won't stop us we are experienced sailors!

I've been in seas most people will never see in their lives, crossed the artic circle with waves breaking over the bow of the boat that would make the lake chelan look like child's play.  ;)

Oh I guess I forgot to tell you that was on a aircraft carrier, 90' waves they can take well.  :chuckle:

Loki how does your boat do in 90' waves?  :yike:

Yeah, they just don't make for very smooth sailing for docking/glassing. I know you guys will persist. :) I had no worries about that!

I checked on the Chelan Butte rams on Saturday... they're definitely pushing the ewes around and failing a few mounting attempts. Should be a fun time to be putting a stalk on them!

Definitely some nice ones still left on the Butte after the season, can't wait to see what you pull off of the North shore!

"Loki how does your boat do in 90' waves?"

No problem, they're so big it's like they are flat.....   :kneel:  :chuckle:

Uugghh!  I hate packing!  I always hope to be packed ahead of time, never seems to work out that way though.

"can't wait to see what you pull off of the North shore!"

I'm getting anxious too
