Congratulations  didn't you see any docks close to your RAM? Or did you hike from the boat launch?

Beached the boat just north of deer point boat dock campground in a gravel beach cove. It was closer where we needed to hike up from.

I heard it was an adventure getting that ram...and its a good one! And Boss .300 when you stop by my Dads place ask to see his big buck/man cave...it too was killed with a muzzy. My understanding is you guys need to wait until Monday to get the horns pinned...I told my Dad to call Eric (WDFW Warden) to see if you can get it done earlier than that...unless of course you guys are busy chasing chukars along the lake!

Good job guys on the hunt!

And that "dummy camp" might have been someones private camp....there are parcels of private property along the lake there.

Just act like you are going to post in a new thread, but then cut and then paste into this thread.

Nobody would mind if you had to post a pic in a new thread. I'm sure a mod could move it over to this one later.

Here is a strapped and ready for the hike down the mountain to the lake.

Bullpacs straps holding him on,and orange aglow safety panel keeping lokidog from getting shot by the other tag holder that's probably 2 miles or more up the lake.  :chuckle:

Actually by that time we had heard a shot and he also had filled his permit by than. ;)

Congrats Ed. Stud ram.
