Bob you beat me to it (posting picts)...all I gotta say us "mucho mass"! This ram is broomed back but carries the mass all the way to the end...much better than lamb tips on a full curl. This guy was old enough to be over a full curl!

Great job guys...not sure uf it will fit in the cooler/fridge in Manson!

Oh, and Lakeview Drive In is open until Nov. 22nd...a bucket of french fries (with their famous Macks seasoning salt) is a great way to celebrate!

The bios are the ones who do the pinning and I doubt that Dave V. or Jon G. will be willing to come in on a weekend to do it. :twocents: That being said there is a lot of things to do in this area and if you like to look at sheep the Swakane herd could be close to Highway 97A. Congratulations on a very nice ram, good job.

Congrats on an old monarch!  That is one heck of a trophy.
Looks like we should have hiked a few steeper hills during elk season though, must have been some tough hiking up that hill.

Thanks everyone. A few more (or any at all) stair stepping relays would have helped.

He's definitely got some character, I added a little with a lead projectile to the tip of one side... glancing blow.....

He is all I could have hoped for.

He looks to be nine to the broomed ends.

We are definitely not bored. Borrowed a shotgun and got one quail for nine shots... dang semi-autos don't pump when you want them too, also a little short for me.  Hope to get at least one chukar tomorrow as well as a second limit of trout (one limit today while cruising for birds).

Don't even try this hunt without a boat, or access to one. Unless your an Olympic athlete, due to the sheep being on the lake side versus toward the land side road access.  ;)

I would buy boat if I could draw a WA sheep tag.  Would probably still be cheaper than the average sheep tag in Canada.  And better chance of getting a good ram too!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
