Underhammer ML, bought it from Bluegrouse, did the stock and browning myself.

Well done Ed!  Great ram!

Thank you for taking all the time to write up the story and pics.  Those of us that can only dream of sheep hunting very much appreciate you taking us along for the ride!

Yeah Ed!! Congrats on a great and successful hunt. Looks like you got an old mountain patriarch!   Sorry I didn't get to be there for the tough work!

First thing I did when I saw Hirshey had posted here was go to her profile page and check the latest posts.  Nothing about Idaho yet :'(
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Really wish I could figure out some way to post my step-sisters fb post...apparently she went to the shop fridge to get a bottle of wine (or put one in there)...and when she opened the door, there was Ed's sheep head staring back!

Its being kept in there until they can get it pinned....ha, funny, as she is not a hunter!

Grade

Your mom told me about that, it cracked me up.  Unfortunately, I missed your dad this morning as I was hoping to get a pic with him.   :(

The Bio said he looked to be 8 1/2 and that with lamb tips would have been over a full curl by WDFW definition.  As is, he was recorded as 7/8 curl.  His horns were broomed at 33 1/4 and 33 3/8 inches and the bases are about 14.  That is as much as I currently have for measurements on him.

Also caught a crap load of cutthroat and got one quail and my first Chukar.  Here are some photos....

Is that first picture a mountain quail?

Glad I could meet you! It was a pleasure, and I'm glad your hunt was so great. Looks like he's good eating!

I'll share my deer stories soon. I have a few years saved up. :)
