I love it when guys can say exactly what a deer will score from a picture and imply everyone else is an idiot.
I don't see where anyone implied anyone else is an idiot. And I have been spot on on 4 bucks I have killed... Within an inch or 2. Judging from trail cam pics.

As a general rule, whitetail bucks are not growing right now.  Maybe a couple inches but no new points are popping out in July.

9 out of 10 shooter bucks I have on cam now are done growing..its a rarity to have mature whitetails putting on inches this time of year. I have 2 bucks still growing right now and look to add quite abit by the end of the month. A tell tale sign they are still growing is when you cam takes pic in IR mode you will see a shine almost to a knob on the point tips that goes away as the turn to points

So much for he's done growing.  Now what's his score?

:yeah:
I have seen a little growth in July on the late bloomers but pretty much none in August, they are in the hardening stage by then and all bucks in my area sept the blue moon odd ball they will all be hard horned by sept 3rd 90% normally by 9/1

I know they are done growing now, curious as to possible scores.

That 4 is a dang nice buck. He looks to have put on around 2 inches to each tine. So a total of 10-12 inches total. I'm thinking he would be very near the pope and young minimum now. Give or take a few.  :twocents: go get him and tell us for sure.

I'd say 125-135 but I'm not the best judge for deer. Deff a shooter in my book!

Would either of the other 2 bucks score higher due to more points or does the size and symmetry of the 4x4 win out?  Sorry I'm totally in the dark when it comes to scoring and never even thought I'd be asking these questions.  Thanks!

That 4 has great tine length and width...if they were side by side I'd take him

I'm guessing they are within +- 5 inches on score. I think the 4 is the older deer and he would be my target over the others. They have lots of potential in coming year. The 4 is likely at his max.  :twocents:

It's crazy how clean that 4 is.  I don't ever see any big whitetails that are trash free.
