Last night, from 6:15-8:15 hooked 3 pinks, landed one due to netting challenges.  Picked up 10 legal hardshell crab on the way back.  It was a beautiful night out there.

I did lose a clip and break a deep 6 diver... so I'm not sure that outweighs the value of our 1 humpy.

North of shipwreck.

I didn't pull a d-rock and drop it overboard.  I reeled up the downrigger while motoring towards a jumper and reeled up too high and it popped off   :bash:

Want to buy me another one for being a good friend?

I have the new high speed scottys and my kid pushed the button when it was close and it travels about 16" per touch.  Snapped cord, snubber, clips and weight of in a millisecond.  $70 set-up with everything.
Cut em!

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Are you guys noticing your fish finders going on the blitz near shipwreck.  I would be trolling and then be reading 2 feet.  Might be sitting on bait or all the floating eel grass.  Wasn't sure other than it not working there.

I think the FF issue is due to all the other sonars on the water. Mine was acting up on Sunday. It was weird though, it only acted up when I went against the tide. I have seen this before on real busy days like during salmon derbies. The more boats the more interference.

S4S is going to be a blast. How many of you are doing overnight mooring? We should meet up for a Hunt Wa get together.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

I just turn mine off when fishing there.  Usually too much interference from other boats, or suspended weeds - or ??  - Don't need it anyway.

What's been the good depth for most.  30-35' at first light than down to 45'-60'?  Coho at 120'?

I've hooked up anywhere from grabbing a flasher on the surface, to running gear at 25 and in the past I've seen and hooked up with schools as deep as 150.0

On average I like to run lines betwen 45 and 65.

Not overnight mooring for me...pretty easy run to the launch from home.
