What is your question? It might help to be more specific. I've hunted Oregon a few times and might be able to help, depending on what and where you're hunting.

NE Oregon has lots of OTC opportunities for archery deer and elk. I will be down there in a few weeks with my old man.

Probably better on the out of state hunting section. What part of eastern Oregon? There's a lot of country so helps if you can give us a little better idea on where you are looking.

A few units come to mind for that style of elk hunt, over the counter tags and decent hunting, I say Pine Creek, Desolation, and snake river....all good choices for pack in or day hike hunting.
