Early birthday present
« on: July 31, 2015, 03:07:42 PM »
Just picked myself up an early birthday present. Cooper Excaliber model 52 in 6.5x.284  :IBCOOL:. Topped with a 6.5x20x50  Leupold mark 4. Previous owner added a Vais  brake. Also got 100 rounds of brass, powder and some 140gr Bergers with it.  Wish it was cooler so I could go shoot it. I've actually already shot it out to 1200yrds when the previous owner had it.

Very nice set up you got, Happy Birthday to you!

I am waiting for some cooler weather also to test some loads on a few rifles. Wish the weather would change soon.

Thanks guys I've been busting my *** all summer doing side jobs to buy this thing. Fell in love with it last time we went shooting  and the owner threw out a #.

Are you getting .5moa like the guarantee? Hand loads, factory, or following the factory load info? Seems like a great buy if the .5 moa guarantee is legit

Handloads just under .5moa. Previous owner said out of the box with good factory ammo was right at .5moa.
