Good thing I got a month to read up on judging bear! That "any deer is a trophy if taken with a recurve" doesn't apply to bear does it?
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

Good for you D-Rock........

You obviously have the skill and knowledge to find them.  Perhaps the next few days will put you into something that you truly want....... ;).

Good luck!

Good decision to let the little one get some more age and weight on him. Just a little guy with big ears. Would have been easy pack out right on the road! Nice picture, thanks for sharing. Makes me even more pumped and ready to rock. You the man D-Rock!

Good stuff, D.  You can't kill the big ones if you shoot the little ones.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Nice! Let him grow and grow. I passed on one this morning too. Partially the heat but also was small with a big visible rub spot on his side. Plenty of time to get the one you want.

Good for you D. The only thing I saw yesterday was an owl.

Just got home from a two night trip.  Put a ton of miles on the feet. probably made bear hunting harder than it needs to be but it was awesome.
