My first dog,a chessy, I named Whisky...I used to get the strangest looks when I yelled his name out in the field  :chuckle:

I have an enormus black and his name is Diesel,  His akc is JD's SuperDuty Diesel.  he is half lab half deer,  he has really long legs and weighs 100 lbs.

so me and my wife and kids are sorta down to 3 names , TANK , SPUD , or ROSCOE,
i really like BO but it wont be a good name if your trying to teach him no

Yell these outside too, see how well it rolls off your tongue.   :chuckle:

I had English pointers that I named Chukar (male) and Quail (female) and Covey (female). My brothers have had labs named Teal, Wigeon, Drake, and Kodiak. My kids named my current GSP Diva! Another good male name is Magnum.

Funny, but good advice. I may name my next dog "Dummy". Doesn't seem to matter what I name my dogs, I end up calling them Dummy. "*censored*" might work too.  :chuckle:
