Looks to me like he is holding the other antler close to his body. The camera is close to the each tho.

They're using an ultra wide lens, probably 16-28mm full frame eq. It distorts perspective by pulling close objects closer and pushing further objects farther. Just look at his upper body compared to lower body. Just as tacky as long arming imho.
