I have one and absolutely love it.  I have a kenia chest holster made by gunfightersinc and it is my go to hiking pistol.  Very accurate and very fun to shoot.

That's funny, I was just looking at the gunfighter website. It looks like a comfortable set up. The toklat looks like it's a lot less bulky then a x frame smith and wesson.?

I've never seen those before! Get me one in 480 and I'd be all in!

I think that one of those would be pretty hard to beat.

My buddy is a fishing guide in AK. Varies the Tolkat 454 Casul. That thing is fun to shoot (sorta). We were loading rounds intermittent with 45 long colt and shooting. On our first trip to the range we were both hitting bullseye at 25 yards before long and were pretty impressed with it.

It is a beast though.

It is a beast though. The frame looks a lot more reasonable compared to a smith and wesson 460 or 500?

How does the frame size compare to a smith and Wesson 500 or a 460 ?

why not get a judge with a 6 in barrel, probably a lot cheaper.  if you look around they run about $450-500.      mike w

Back in 96 I had a 44 mag in a SS Super Black Hawk and paid 327.00.  A old buddy came over in 2000 and wanted to trade me for it. He had a SS Ruger Super Red Hawk in .454. HECK YEA I have had it ever since. I have taken a few deer, rabbit, and grouse. Head shots on the small game. Scoped it with a 2 power. I load bear rounds and love it. Havn't shot it in a while but reading the form makes me want the shoot it.

Dont be a sissy.  Get a .460.  You can shoot .454 out of it if you want.  Or .45lc for that matter
