Why?  There is so much public duck hunting that is hardly hunted that can't see why anyone would pay to hunt duçks
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Lots of reasons.  I have a few private places I hunt (not leases though) that are close to my house.  It's very nice to be 15 minutes from home and able to hunt quickly.  I've been known to hunt 2 or 3 days a week before work.  you can't do that if you have to drive an hour, take a boat, etc., etc.

I can't help you up there. It's a little out of my area.

Man I wish I could just find some local areas to hunt! I live in that same area and I can't get any land owners to take the "liability of a hunter on their property." I have to do a lot of driving to do much duck hunting.
