W/out scope?  Nice work, makes me proud.  I remember my first at 12 with dads .243!!  It was better then my first tail. :chuckle:
The wife said if I go hunting 1 more time, she's going 2 leave me!!  Gosh I'm gonna miss her.

Congrats! That has to be one of the greatest feelings when your kid shoots thier first deer. I hope to add another one to the list if she can get over the loud "Boom" from the gun, she hates loud noises.

Me too. Lever action Model 94 30-30.  Congrats to both of you.  I know dad probably did some work to get the boy in front of his first buck.  I had the same experience this year with my son.  Never been as proud of anything I shot as I was of my son's first deer. 
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

congrats! my first was with a lever action 30-30 also. ill never forget it. got the pictures with me, my dad, and my deer framed and hanging at my house. great moment!
