Peaches Ridge Question
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:16:35 AM »
My brother and I both drew the Peaches Ridge Rifle Bull tags. We were really excited about the hunt. Made plans to scout both units. However my brother was diagnosed with colon cancer 4 weeks ago at the age of 33. It has been a couple months of highs and lows. I have been down to Little Naches a couple of times scouting already with game cams out. I don't know if it's worth it to scout the Taneum or not. I am just coming back from helping him move to Arizona for a year or so and he plans on elk hunting while getting chemo this fall. I am leaning towards putting my time into the Little Naches but always open to suggestions. I have already reached out to Rt about little Naches. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

My dad went through colon cancer a few years back and was doing chemo during deer season....the day after treatment he was pretty tired but he made it out everyday...he couldn't pack anything out because of lack of energy but he made it down when I shot my biggest buck to date...it was a pretty special day...tell your brother to keep positive thoughts and he will get through this and get a masher bull...good luck to you 2
