I must be losing it, completely forgot to put in for raffle tags for Wa, and forgot to put in for Idaho second chance.  Sucks getting older and forgetful.

But at least you have a bit extra cash in your pocket.  :chuckle:

Odds in the second draw this year seemed much worse than before.

The permit area is the portion within Ada county. Lots of winter range so snow is a big time helper.

If anyone has had that tag before, snow does help but once December hits you see 200-300 deer a day. Its their wintering range. They only give out 40 tags. I had the tag 3 yrs ago, first day had a nice 3x4 I passed up on, then saw a 5x6 with kickers and chased that.  I saw about 10 good bucks in the last few days of the hunt. I should have shot the 3x4 lol

I did not draw anything on Idaho 2nd draw and I agree the odds were worse than normal.
If you need a reminder to apply get the PointHunter app.  It will remind you to apply in 43 states.

Here is a scouting pict of Idaho bucks this year.
