I hope the children and photography can help you through a tough time. Hang in there.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

The short version, I'm going through a divorce. She pulled some dirty crap, which really screwed up my fall.  I chose my girls over hunting.  This week I had a couple days so I just shot with my camera.  I got some good critters I'll be posting up.  It's comforting to know I still get "to hunt", though it will be limited this fall.   Thanks for the support everyone.

Right choice Bone, absolutely the right choice.

There will always be another deer but you will only get one "shot" at raising your daughters.  There is nothing in this world more important than that IMHO.
:yeah:

https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

The commission shall attempt to maximize the public recreational game fishing and hunting opportunities of all citizens, including juvenile, disabled, and senior citizens.

x 1 million

And that deer is calendar worthy for sure, he is lucky you are taking the year off, so are your kids. Solid move all the way around.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

Mr. Boneaddict is as good at raising kids as he is at finding big bucks.  Hat off to you sir.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

 Bone,
If you get the latest calendar up and running I'll gladly support the cause. Sure love 'em!

It sounds like you made the right use of time, you only get one shot at raising your kids.

You're in for a long and terrible road.  I wish you the best with endurance.  Focusing on the things that matter is step one and you are well on your way!  Breaks my heart that someone else has to walk this terrible road.

Don't know how far you are in the process but if you need any advice from someone who walked it, shoot me a pm.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
