Man I love seeing the bling bling, but seeing a total of 5 bands and not getting a little love from the duck gods that day I'd have probably tossed my gun in the water!

First time we went goose hunting here on base my first shot took a banded goose, turns out it was only banded 12 miles up the road.

Two bands, both on hen pintails. I did miss a greenhead three times and as I watched him fly up the ditch another guy wacked him clean with one shot. You guessed right, saw the guy a while later and sure enough, there was a band! Not cool...

hey sagerat,, do your remeber where your pintails were from?

Thanks Boomcity!   I have been involved a little bit with some recent banding and love to hear the details.

One of them was from Grants, Alaska. The other one was also from AK but I can't find my certificate, not sure what part of the state.

I'll be assisting on a little pintail banding operation in the near future... Love to hear about any pintails from the Washington area...

I bet many folks run across bands this year, more so from years past ;)
