looking for land to hunt deer and elk on
« on: September 24, 2015, 11:52:58 PM »
I'm looking for someone that has land somewhere here in Washington that we could work out and arrangement for me and my son to camp on maybe a night or two and hunt for deer or elk or both. Drop me a line and let's see what we can work out.  Thank you

I'd say pick a place you'd like to scout and hunt. Spend the weekend there, eat at the local restaurant, go camping in the area, get supplies at the local shops, maybe even go to church there a few times when you are visiting.  Remember names.  The idea is to be social and let people get to know you a little, to even like talking with you.  If your son needs to take hunter ed, take it in that area.  Talk to the game warden or biologist that works in that area.  Sometimes there are volunteer projects which could result in access if you make a good impression.
