Renting High End Glass
« on: September 17, 2015, 01:39:57 PM »
Has anyone rented a pair of binoculars or spotting scope before ?

Came across a site that rents Swarovski glass for $15 a day.

Seemed like a decent deal , So I decided to rent a pair for the upcoming general deer season to try it out .  I know its money that I could of put towards a pair to own but i am cool with it.

This guy is a member of HuntWa and might be a site sponsor. I can't recall for sure.

I haven't.

I would be patient and plan ahead by surfing Craigslist for a good deal used. Then use it on your hunt and resell afterward. That's what I do with camera lenses and sometimes I can even sell them for more than what I paid for them. Not sure the economics work out the same with hunting optics but its worth a shot, pardon the pun.
