Pick of the Litter
« on: August 25, 2015, 03:19:15 PM »
We had pick of the litter and settled on this pup. Meet Lucy. She comes home a week from today. Our first Lab. Owned 3 Chessys since I was a teenager, and #3 is getting up there in age. Time to start a new pup.

She sure is a cutie. I have had labs all my life and love them. Great age for the kids and a puppy too. They are going to be best of friends

Thanks Vandeman, We are all very excited. Been looking for a while. Everything finally came together. Good timing too, as Sissy had to let her beloved lamb go at the fair the day before. Lucy's dad is a large, athletic looking chocolate. Mom is a smaller, well built black. They appear to have a good line of papers behind them. Its gonna be fun getting to know our newest family member!

Are you gonna hunt her? If so and you are looking for a trainer, my uncle and cousin are professional trainers and do a good job. Maybe next summer when she is bigger, we will have to meet up at a park or trail or something and she can play with my labs. See if we can wear them out which is easier said than done!  :chuckle:
