Beautiful animal. Great story. At this risk of sounding like a dummy, what are the antler pcs hanging from your neck ? Are those an elk call ? Sure look cool.

Those are our own Bearmanricks predator calls.  I traded him a couple sheds for some calls then took them down to NM with me.  Everyone in the woods was using the hoochie mama etc.  The elk were pretty callshy to them. soooooooo I used a secret weapon.  His cow and calf elk sounds worked just fine.  They are high volume calls (made for predator hunting) so I had to tone it down a bit.  I figured it was good MOJO too.
