Wow Bone, that bull is nice enough to make a whole hunting season (all species). What other premium hunts to you have this year?

I'm stuck with general stuff for the rest of the year EXCEPT........Idabooner drew a late season buck permit up in the Methow.  Camp Kikendall will resume Halloween night for the opener on the first.  We will be giving it hell for all the time allowed until there is a big buck down.  I'm really looing forward to it.  Camera will be in hand, but I will be concentrating on getting Booner in front of......well a booner if possible.  If he scores early then I will be off to Idaho for some deer action.  His hunt has priority.  Since we got back so early, I'll be going back to work tomorrow, and will be able to cash some vacation out to pay for some of our last big hunt.  I'd rather be hunting thatn working tomorrow, but if it gives me another chance to get out then HUNT ON!

Thanks everyone again for the kind words!  I mean that.  you guys were a priority on this trip.  Dad and I talked alot aboutthis site, different threads, pics etc, the whole trip.  Nothing like a roadtrip.  I'm very happy to share it with you all.  i was disappointed that I didn't get more elk pics.  It just didn't work out in the strategy game.

Here is one.....I'm not sure I mentioned that we took the big tent.  The real reason was if the monsoons were still going, I wanted Dad to be comfortable, and myself.   the real real reason was that I could put him on one side of the tent and his snoring would't get to me as bad.  truth be told thoug, I think I snored more this trip than he did.  At least when I could sleep.  Its hard wth bulls bugling in the camp.

That is a gorgeous bull! Sounds like a good hunt all around--Road trip, out in the field with dad, great bull. All good things. Sounds like I need to switch to bow hunting!!!

Awesome bull bone, congrats!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
