Vortex optics came in today
« on: April 12, 2008, 07:01:15 PM »
Hey guys, just got my new vortex viper binos today and i wanted to give you a report. I compared these to my brothers steiner HD  $1200 and they are brighter and crisper. They are pretty light but heavy enough to get a good focus, actually they are perfect and I cant believe I almost bought some leupolds for way more money. The price is right and you get way more for your money..  I got mine from Elknut.Paul is a pleasure to work with. If you are even considering new binos for around $500 you should call Elknut.      I saved so much money that I also got a vortex impact spotting scope. This little thing is amazing. Its really short and fat just like my mother in law but it fits great in my pack.Any backpackers looking for a compact spotter should really check this thing out.It also comes with a tripod.I have a bushnell trophy $169 and now I think its apiece of -------- actually its for sale.
