So as we approach early archery season looking to see people's results with calling blacktails. Does it work for you and if so what do you find effective?

The only time I've ever heard blacktail be vocal is in November for the bucks when they are trying to chase the does during the rut.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

Two years ago I called in a 2 point buck in Aug. while bear hunting using a fawn bleat . I think he was just curious . I have also called in a few does using a fawn bleat while bear hunting but it's not something I would use during the early archery season.
