The moose looks great, the removable antlers are the only way to go for large mounts

Definitely.  The house doesn't work with the moose, so now we have to remodel.   :)

For sure!  I sure don't remember him being this big when he was laying on the ground.   :yike:  Thanks goodness for the guides and horses!

Beauty!  Both moose and mount!  Bringing it in the house like that really shows how gigantic they are.  But for how big it is, you got the right mount for the space.

BTW, treated a few friends to the last of the shrimp tonight.  Yes, they are very good friends....   :chuckle:

22 pounds in the freezer this year.     A friend of my wife said it looks like he is sticking his head through the wall to see what's for dinner.   :chuckle:  Still trying to figure out a name for him, Snuffleupagus? I think Kelli is also prety happy he was a northern moose and doesn't have an 18 inch dewlap hanging down in her face.   ;)

I did a freezer reorg last week and discovered 103 pounds of moose still in one of them, yikes, better make some summer sausage.

Haha, 103 lbs...?!?!

I judge my year by the contents of my freezer, but when you can hide 103 lbs of moose meat for 3 years you are taking harvesting to another level.    :chuckle:

  I'm a meat horder, what can I say... it got buried under all the shrimp and lingcod.    :kneel:   :chuckle:  I knew there was some burger left but I missed the roasts and didn't realize how much burger.  My dad and I brought 500 pounds home.

I think we have a name for him - 'Bunny'....

We used to have a bunny named 'Moose' so now we have a moose named 'Bunny'.   :chuckle:
