The Sheriff’s Office would like the public to be aware that road closures related to the recently updated “Area and County High Fire Danger and Road Restrictions/Closures” resolution 2015-81 are NOT related to the evacuation level road closures. These resolution closures have been put in place by the County Commissioners to keep unauthorized individuals out of high fire danger areas – (see list of roads in the resolution which have now been placed at level 3 status).

Persons are only allowed past road closures under the following conditions:


·Bona Fide Residents

·Landowners and Leaseholders to access land to perform work to protect property.

·Authorized and Official business only.

·Access to open public lands for legitimate purpose/use.
