Is the Lick Creek Unit Open
« on: August 26, 2015, 04:17:57 PM »
My buddy called the Game Dept in Olympia.  They told him the are not closing any hunting season.  The only restrictions are those in place by the fire department.  Proceed with caution and have a good hunt.  I sure hope this is correct.  Anyone heard different?

A good portion of the Lick Creek Unit is closed by the USFS for entry.  The WDFW lands are open and the Forest Service lands North of the Lick Creek Road (41 road). The 41 Road itself is closed so is the 43, 44 and the 40 South of Clearwater lookout. Here is a current closure map.

"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!
