We had this happen back home in Kansas, back there if you called the game wardens to help they would just come out and shoot the deer and load them up.  Claimed that the live buck was so exhausted from the effort he would just go off bed down and die.  Good effort by the guys in the story!

Yeah, but I wonder what his chances really are.  He had to have been pretty beat up and exhausted.  Looked like that other deer had been dead for a few days.  Also, that area is well known for it's short, mild winters...

Anybody ever watch Fargo?
