My wife is the same.  She shoots a lefty bow.

I'm RH, LE, if I'd known many years I think i would have learned to shoot lefty.
On the other hand I do ok squinting down my left eye.

Having her try shooting left and right is a great idea.   
Old enough to know better.
Young enough to go for it.

I'm cross dominant, tried shooting rifle left handed and could not keep it steady. I doubt I could be competent with a left hand bow. I just close my left eye, I can shoot with both eyes open when target shooting, since my eye focuses on the pin over the target.

I'm left handed  and left eye dominant , I shoot both rifles and bows right handed  never had a issue just close left eye.

I just learned to shoot left handed.  Really, it wasn't hard at all.
