Wow, meathunter, I hope you second post is a new thread with a story on that buck.  Smoker for sure, way to go.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

That's a beautiful buck your son has there Transka! I'd like to hear his story. I'd like to get one like that with a muzzle loader. Thanks for showing the picture!

The head is in the Beatles at a buddy's house.  I plan to meet him on Thursday, I will post it then.

I'm betting 6 to 6 1/8"

I had a chance to measure the H1 on my buck.  For those of you interested is taped out between 7 1/8 and 7 2/8 on both sides with a regular cloth tape measure.

Meathunter that is a tremendous buck, Congratulations!

:yike: When you consider the fact that there has been about 20 or so muley bucks ever recorded with 6" or larger circumference H1's in this state, and less than 5 with H1 measurements larger than 6 4/8", that is one hell of a buck!

I wondered if that H1 would hit 7. Very impressive. Meathunter, that's a buck that will tape out very nicely. Good start to the year for some impressive WA bucks. I'm expecting many more to follow.

Shot this guy 15 minutes after daylight on opening morning today with the muzzleloader in a firearm restricted area. I was watching a spike and doe I was gonna pass on when out came this rutted up guy. Not a monster but my biggest BT and a hell of a body.
