I know right? Being that it was my first deer, I didn't know what I had until later when a bunch of other hunters stopped by and saw him. Come to find out it's not every year you get to harvest a deer with that much palmation.

After a ton of scouting trips and many many miles put on, my dad and I got a late start one morning, we saw a doe in some reprod while driving to our spot so I got out and started watching her for a bit. This guy came out and made a B line for the doe. Funny that it worked out that way but he is my biggest blacktail and I am very happy with him. Has been a great season so far.

 My daughters blacktail. She is 18 and this is her 8th deer. At least one a year since she was 12. Also her 3rd buck with at least 4 pts on one side. Lady hunters are not just a small part of the hunting world anymore!
